An all expenses paid holiday, where would you go

If you could travel, ALL expenses paid, to anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Granted, an all-expenses paid for trip would be a treat wherever in the world it is... be that 6, 60 or 600 miles away from home. But if you had the option to travel to anywhere in the world, for any length of time, with whoever you'd want to take, without having to spend a single penny on hotels, lodges, travel, snacks, meals, drinks etc, where would it be?

For me, it'd be Africa - a safari over there would be the dream. We'd have to make a good length of time of it though to really indulge, so I'm thinking about a month? Maybe six weeks? Not pushing my luck at all here am I.

Seeing elephants drinking water from natural water pools where people are swimming, giraffes roaming around lodges and lions up close and personal to safari jeeps on TikTok has definitely fuelled this fire a little for sure, but it's somewhere I've always wanted to go for so much more than the animals. I think experiencing the diverse range of authentic African cultures is high up there on reasons why, it would be an amazing learning journey for both Alfie and us adults.

The top 4 safari destinations according to YellowZebraSafaris are Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa and Botswana. I'd definitely have to do all four... again, not pushing my luck here at all I swear!

Just imagine the fuzzy warm feelings you'd get seeing animals in their natural habitats instead of behind bars in zoos, or being up close to a herd of elephants going about their day to day lives. It's just magical.

I've asked the question amongst employees and this is what they've said:

Marie: New Zealand or Antarctica, to discover places rarely visited

Sarah E: the Galapagos Islands, to see the giant tortoises as they're one of my favourite animals

Carole: Bora Bora, I've wanted to go since I was a child

Natalie: Would be the same as mine, (Naturally, seeing as she is the Northern version of Southern me!)

Maybe I should start saving?

In the process of writing this blog post and getting all excited about the prospect of Africa, I did a little research out of curiosity and came to find the cost of living that dream...

With prices ranging from £3000-8000 per person for 7 days, it is definitely more feasible for somebody else to pay but I'm thinking if I start saving now then it might be something we can do for Alfie's 18 birthday, ha ha!

I would love to know what your holiday destination dream would be!
