Chocolate Making workshops - Kids
Chocolate making workshops in Essex, in our Chocolate shop in Essex.
We have six options available to pick from.
After school workshop packages at the end!
Option A - Chocolate workshop Information – Under 14yrs
What is included in your package: 60 mins session
Price: £27.00pp
Workshop time allowance : 60 minutes per party with making;
Minimum numbers: 8 children
Maximum numbers: 12 children
Price and what's included information:
4 -13yrs old - £27.00 per head - they will get to decorate their own 3 large chocolate bars (approx. 150g per bar), and package up their goodies to take home.
Option B - Chocolate Workshop Information – Under 14yrs
What is included in your package: 1 hour 15 mins party
Price: £30.00 pp - if you wish to add food option, that will be an extra £4.00pp
Workshop time allowance : 1 hour, 15 mins per party with making;
Minimum numbers: 8 children
Maximum numbers: 12 children
Price and what's included information:
4 -13yrs old - £30.00 per head – they will get to decorate their own 8 chocolate bars, make 12 decorated discs, and package up their goodies to take home.
Option C - Chocolate Workshop Information – Under 14yrs - Choc Pizza option
What is included in your package: 1.5 hour session with food
Price: £34.00 pp - (if you would like to do without the food, that is £30.00 pp)
Workshop time allowance : 1.5 hours per party with making;
Minimum numbers: 8 children
Maximum numbers: 12 children
Price and what's included information:
4 -13yrs old - £34.00 per head – they will get to decorate their own Large Chocolate Pizza with melted chocolate topping and sweet/chocolate toppers, and make 12 decorated discs and package up their goodies to take home, and food/drink option for each child (listed below).
Food choices for option C: this includes a soft drink (apple/orange/water), and brunch or lunch, you can pick from the kids menu for party goers below, which includes one of the following options (please note, we take the food top them in the back room while the party is taking place):
- Pancakes (3) with fruit/spray cream
- Pancakes (3) with Nutella spread,
- Pancakes (3) with bacon and Maple Syrup,
- Sandwich - Cheese
- Sandwich - Ham
- Sandwich - Nutella
- Sandwich - Jam
Option D - Chocolate Workshop Information – 14 - 16yrs
Price: £40.00pp
Workshop time allowance : 1 hour per party with making;
Minimum numbers: 6 children
Maximum numbers: 8 children
Price and what's included information:
14 – 16yrs old - £40.00 per head – they will get to learn how to temper chocolate, making their own discs with their own chocolate, we will provide them with tempered chocolate to make their own chocolate slab weighing approx. 500g+, package up their goodies to take home.
Option E - Chocolate Workshop Information – Wed/Thur/Fri - School Term time
What is included in your package:
Price: £17.00pp
Workshop time allowance : 45 min session
Minimum numbers: 6 children
Maximum numbers: 12 children
Price and what's included information:
4 -13yrs old - £17.00 per head - they will get to decorate their own 12 decorated discs and package up their goodies to take home.
Option F - Chocolate Workshop Information – Wed/Thur/Fri - School Term time
What is included in your package:
Price: £24.00pp
Workshop time allowance : 60 min session
Minimum numbers: 6 children
Maximum numbers: 12 children
Price and what's included information:
4 -13yrs old - £24.00 per head - they will get to decorate their own 12 decorated discs and package up their goodies to take home, plus a lunch box and drink (the lunch box will include 1/2 sandwich, pack of crisps, fruit tub, small cube of chocolate brownie) Plus a bottle of drink (they can pick from fruit shot, apple juice, orange juice, water)
Options Extras available, to make it that little bit special:

- Milkshakes (straight up) each – £3.50 per child
- Personalised chocolate slab - from £29.50 each

Location: Sarah’s Chocolate Kitchen, 83 Rayleigh Road, Eastwood, Leigh on sea, Essex. SS9 5UZ
Payment of workshops: We do require full payment of 8 spaces at the time of booking to secure your booking. We recommend that the minimum amount is booked (8) and then you can add to the booking nearer the date, but final number must be confirmed at least two weeks before to allow for additional staff if required.
How our workshops work: You simply leave the attendees with our staff at the back workshop room, all my staff working with the children are DBS checked. We do have limited seating now, we do advise booking some seats so your guests can relax and enjoy a drink/snack from our eatery.
Some general rules:
We do not allow outside food to be brought in, this includes your own cakes.
We do ask that you do not bring in items such as confetti or balloons, due to health, hygiene and safety around the machinery.
We ask that children with any illnesses that may be contagious are kept away, this is to protect both the other children and also our staff.
If you are aware of any allergies*, this must be given over at the time of booking, so we can ensure that products are kept separate or not displayed for use.
*please note that we will have products on site from all allergy groups, which will need to be considered when booking up. Although we can make with free from, we still have airborne particles in the room.
Cancellation policy for workshops:
1. You shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. You will have a 24-hour window from the point of payment of deposit or full payment, where you will be entitled to a full refund (*Additional reference)
2. Any cancellations occurring after this 24-hour period will only be offered to transfer to another date. No refunds will be issued. We can only transfer a booking if receiving within 14days of the workshop date.
*If you book within 24 hours of the booking date and time, you will not be entitled to a refund and will only be able to move your booking or receive a credit note for the amount paid.
3. In the case of a workshop and/or a group booking of 8 or more people, you must give us a minimum of 14 days’ notice, so that they can look for an alternative date. If cancelled within 14 days, you will not receive an exchange or alternative date.
