Breakfast choices

When it comes to breakfast do you prefer sweet or savoury?

When talking sweet I don't mean chocolate bars or slices of cake (though no judgement here!) ... I'm thinking waffles, pancakes, fruit, whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce to pair.
Obviously savoury is a little more obvious and that's your full English, an eggs benedict, salmon and avocado on toast - the stuff that seems to be more "traditional"
I'm not really sure where I sit on this these days, it's definitely a situation where the taste buds become sentient for a moment and take over, deciding what we all want 🤣 it's like I have two to four thousand extra personalities to help me decide (yes, I did just Google how many taste buds we have).  Anyway, I digress.
Since opening the Sarah's Chocolate Kitchen eatery I find myself having days where I'm really, really adverse to sweet stuff and aaaall I crave is the salty goodness of savoury food. Other days you just cannot beat that tangy taste of strawberries topped on a sweet waffle. Luckily, we do it all, so I'm never spoilt for choice haha. You can even go absolutely wild, live life totally on the edge, and have a savoury topped sweet 🙀 pancakes topped with salty smoked bacon and a drizzle of sweet maple syrup is just *chefs kiss* - don't knock it till you've tried it!
What would be your ideal combination, if you could have any sweet or savoury breakfast in the world? There's a very good chance we can cater for your dream breaky where we are, as everything is made fresh and we offer the option of a switch out or additional toppings and sides.
We've done a poll at work and the figures are pretty even split - 3 for savoury, 3 for sweet. Be our tie breaker! What's your go-to?
Both our sweet and savoury options are available all day, with dairy free, vegan, gluten free and other allergy free options available.
From topped toast, bacon and sausage sandwiches, and a full English fry up, to Eton mess waffles, cherry pie pancakes and a combination of both, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the eatery.
You can find our opening hours and the full food and drinks menus on our website:
