Breakfast with Santa in Leigh on sea, Essex
I'm writing this on the 4th of October... which means it's practically Christmas. So, I thought I'd take a quick minute to share with you all the amazing Santa visits we are doing again this year after such success last year.
There's nothing quite like the magic of taking the littles to see Santa in the lead up to the big day, is there? We are biased but are firm believers that he is the closest thing to the real deal.
This event sold out in 24 hours last year so fully expect it to fill up quickly, so if you are considering buying a ticket please don't delay, as we cannot add more days and don't want you to miss out!
Anyway, we are hosting the Santa experience over three separate dates this year:
- Saturday 7th December
- Sunday 8th December
- Saturday 14th December
To grant as many Christmas wishes as we can, there will be 10x one-hour long sessions on each of these days for you to choose from.
Each person attending will require a ticket and the experience includes a savoury bun or sweet treat elf-endorsed sugary breakfast plate (or lunch box) at our eatery. Included in the ticket price is a chocolate themed (of course) reusable gift, a NICE list certificate, activity sheet with colouring, and of course your private photo opportunity with the big man himself in our fully decked out, cosy Christmas grotto. You can take as many of your own photos as you want.
During your session the shop will also be closed to the general public, but open to you, so if you wish to use your hour to stock up on last minute gifts or to get those bits and bobs to add to Christmas Eve boxes, we will have the tills on and be ready to serve.
This would be an amazing opportunity to relight the magic in older children who are on the cusp of believing - we had overwhelmingly positive feedback last year, with everyone who attended telling us he encompassed everything you'd imagine the real Santa to do so... real beard included! He has the voice, the glasses, even the twinkle of fairy lights in his eyes (this might be a reflection of the decor in the shop, but still 👀🤣)
Food
Food options range from savoury to sweet:
- a full stacker bun (yum!) using our best soft bread, bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, and a hash brown to boot
- 3 x pancakes with your topping of choice
- lunchbox containing a sandwich and a few other picky bits
All meals include a drink of your choice.
We do cater for vegans, gluten free, vegetarians, and try our best to cater for allergens but we cannot say we are allergy free as we have nuts etc on site, and simply cannot eradicate the risk entirely.
