Creative STEAM Building Programme
At Sarah’s Creative Chocolate Kitchen, we believe children learn best when they are curious, engaged, and having fun. Our hands-on, screen-free enrichment sessions encourage children to explore, experiment, and create through play-based learning experiences designed especially for home-educated learners and curious young minds.
Using colourful building brick materials, moving elements, and imaginative challenges, children take part in interactive activities that blend creativity, problem-solving, and discovery. Each session introduces age-appropriate STEAM concepts — bringing together Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Our workshops are designed to help children:
- Build confidence through creative exploration
- Develop critical thinking and teamwork skills
- Strengthen fine motor and design abilities
- Learn new concepts through practical, hands-on activities
- Enjoy social learning in a welcoming community space
Every session focuses on learning through doing — allowing children to experiment, build working creations, and take pride in what they achieve.
Programme Details

Price: £8.75 per child - this includes a payments booking fee of £0.75p that we lose to the website booking site.

What we are making on each session:
- Transport - Dragster - Friday 17th April - 10am - 11am
- Energy - Oil Pump - Friday 15th May - 12noon - 1pm
- Swingboat - Friday 12th June - 12noon - 1pm
- Gymnastics - Thursday 25th June - 1pm - 2pm
- Spider - Friday 17th July - 12noon - 1pm
- Sailboat - Wednesday 29th July - 10am - 11am
Ages: 7+
Parents & Carers: Parents remain on site and can relax in our restaurant area during the session.
👩🏫 Led by an Experienced Educator:
Workshops are run by a highly experienced teacher with many years of delivering successful creative learning workshops and specialist training in this field.
Arrivals: We ask that you allow plenty of time to park and be ready to start promptly at the start time.
Location: Sarah’s Creative Chocolate Kitchen Limited, 83 Rayleigh Road, Eastwood, Leigh on sea, Essex, SS9 5UZ, we are located right next door to The Eastwood Academy, we have limited FREE street parking outside our premises, but it can be quite busy at certain times of the day. There is more free parking around the roads we are located as well.
Refreshment: The children can bring their own drinks bottles into this session, but they must be lidded bottles to avoid spillages.
Cancellation policy: at this time we are not able to refund any cancelled booking if you are not able to attend. If we have a waiting list of people that can take your tickets we will try our best to sell them again for you, but this is not always possible at short notice. Booking is at your own risk. We are such a small business that we would not survive if we lost customers on each booking and they required refunds, as our event would not be covered for the cost of entertainment, staff and food if part of ticket fee.
Disclaimer: as of March 2020 our credit card facilities and PayPal no longer refund their fees for any refunds. We follow the same procedures as well.
